Yes! The app creates 300 DPI photos (professional print quality). As long as you upload a good photo and print correctly, results are excellent.
Yes! Upload your downloaded JPG/PNG file to any photo printing service (Walgreens, CVS, Costco, etc.).
Most countries now accept home prints. Some require professional photo shop stamp. Check your country's requirements.
Your source photo probably has low resolution. Take a new photo with better camera at highest quality setting.
Somewhat. You can adjust brightness/contrast/colors, but can't fix blurry photos or poor lighting. Best to start with a good photo!
95% of the time: printer scaling setting! You MUST set printer to "Actual Size" or "100%" or "Do not scale". Never use "Fit to page".
Photo paper (glossy or matte) gives best results. Premium inkjet paper is good too. Regular paper works but may not be accepted everywhere.
Yes! Any inkjet or laser printer works. Just use correct settings: Actual Size, Best Quality, Color mode.
Use sharp scissors or craft knife with ruler. Cut slightly inside the borders (1mm) to avoid white edges. Paper trimmer/photo cutter is even better!
Yes! Download once, print as many times as you want. Or download multiple sheets before printing.
The app has three main sections: Photo Settings (left/top), Upload & Preview (right/top), and a centered Editing Section with a 2-column grid showing your crop canvas on the left and all sliders on the right. On mobile, everything stacks vertically. For details, see the Help Documentation.
Select your country from the dropdown, and dimensions auto-fill. If your country isn't listed, check official requirements and enter manually.
Most countries require white. Some allow light blue or gray. Check your country's requirements. When in doubt, choose white.
Use the Zoom slider! Face should fill about 70-80% of the photo height. Zoom in if too small, zoom out if too big.
Use the Rotation slider! Drag left/right until your head is level. Or click the reset button to snap to 0°.
Yes! Use the Undo button (↶) or press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac). App remembers last 20 changes!
Depends on photo size and paper size. For example: USA 2×2 inch photos on Letter paper = about 8 photos. Use Auto-fit mode to maximize!
Yes! All settings can be changed anytime. Your photo stays loaded. Change country, paper size, dimensions, background—whatever you want!
Make sure you're clicking directly on the photo (not the blue frame). Try using fullscreen editor (double-click the canvas or click the button below the canvas). Note that the fullscreen editor has independent controls—changes only apply when you click "Apply & Close".
Check for warning messages—might be file format issue, file size too big, or image quality too low. Read the message and follow suggestions.
Try again—could be temporary glitch. Close other browser tabs. Try JPG instead of PDF. Check available disk space on your computer.

Processing that happens on YOUR device (computer/phone). This app is 100% client-side = your photos never uploaded.
Measure of print resolution. 300 DPI = professional/photo quality. Higher DPI = sharper prints.
Number of pixels in image. Measured as width × height (e.g., 1200×1500 pixels). Higher = sharper, more detail.
Cutting/trimming parts of image. Blue frame shows crop area (what will be included). Everything outside frame is cut off.
Most common image format. Compressed (smaller files). Slight quality loss, but usually imperceptible.
Image format with no quality loss. Larger files than JPG. Best for maximum quality.
Portable Document Format. Universal document format that looks same on all devices/printers. Good for professional submissions.
Digital drawing surface where your photo appears. Think of it as the editing workspace. Uses HTML5 Canvas API.
Intensity/vividness of colors. 0% = black & white, 100% = normal colors, 200% = very vivid/intense.
Color tone (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). Measured in degrees (0-360°). Shifts all colors in rainbow spectrum.
Ratio of width to height. Example: 35×45mm = 35:45 aspect ratio. Passport photos often have specific aspect ratios.
Browser feature that saves data on your computer. Used to remember your settings. Not sent to internet, stays local.
General Data Protection Regulation. European privacy law. This app complies because it doesn't collect any data!
Content Delivery Network. Server network that delivers files fast worldwide. Used to load jsPDF library for PDF downloads.
One million pixels. Measure of camera resolution. 2 MP = 2 million pixels (usually enough for passports).
Size relative to original. 100% = actual size (what you want for printing!). 50% = half size, 200% = double size.
Shiny photo paper finish. Reflects light. Common for passport photos.
Non-shiny photo paper finish. No glare, doesn't reflect light. Alternative to glossy.
